    Dear Colleagues and Students:

We are excited to announce the 2020 Virtual Smart-City Operations and Analytics Conference, to be held on October 20, 2020.

We are entering an era of great expectations towards our cities. The vision of "smart cities" has been pursued worldwide to transform urban habitats into superior efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This phenomenon prompts us operations management (OM) and operations research (OR) researchers to ponder what a smart city means through our lens, what roles to assume, and how to benefit our society. The goal of this event is to facilitate such discussions and interactions by virtually convening a diverse group of leading scholars to share their cutting-edge research as regards smart-city operations and analytics.

This virtual conference features a lineup of distinguished speakers and panelists:

    • Elena Belavina (Cornell)
    • Saif Benjaafar (University of Minnesota)
    • Maxime Cohen (McGill)
    • Peter Frazier (Cornell)
    • Marta Gonzalez (Berkeley)
    • Ming Hu (University of Toronto)
    • Anton Kleywegt (Georgia Tech)
    • Zhenhui Jessie Li (Penn State University)
    • Ho-Yin Mak (Oxford)
    • David Simchi-Levi (MIT)
    • Chung-Piaw Teo (National University of Singapore)

Together, they will bring ten presentations and two panel discussion sessions.

    Time: 8:45am – 5:30pm (Eastern Time), Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

Agenda and Registration: Available on our website, free online webinar registration.

We cordially invite you to register for this event!
