    * Apologies for cross-posting *

    Each year the Canadian Operations Research Society (CORS) conducts a student paper competition to recognize the contribution of a paper to the theory and practice of operations research and operations management. The competition serves to showcase the high quality of OR/OM education as well as the excellence of the new generation of operational researchers. Prizes are awarded in two categories: Undergraduate and Open.
    Eligibility:
    The applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student in a Canadian institution in either an undergraduate, Master's, or Ph.D. program during the school year 2022–2023. Students who are Canadian citizens but are studying outside of Canada are also eligible. Published papers are eligible for the competition only if their first submission date is after the previous year's CORS Annual Conference, i.e., after June 2022.
    Student Categories:
    Papers where all applicants are undergraduate students may be submitted to either category, Open or Undergraduate, but not both. Papers co-authored by at least one graduate student - MBA, Masters, or Ph.D. - are welcome to submit to the Open category.
    Further details and application instructions are available at
    Applications are due by Friday, April 7th.  Entrants to the Undergraduate competition, in particular, must register by March 31st and can apply to the CORS Student Funding to attend the conference if they become finalists.
    Best regards,
    Tamon Stephen (Open Competition) and Andre Augusto Cire (Undergraduate Competition)
