Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in healthcare operations management at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Operations Management/ Operations Research /Industrial Engineering or a relevant discipline and possess a record that demonstrates their research potential.
The candidate is expected to work on an on-going research involving applications of operations research techniques and data analytics in a multi-hospital network. This research project is led primarily by Dr. Beste Kucukyazici. The candidate must have strong modeling and analytical skills on dynamic programming and stochastic processes as well as management and analysis of large data sets. Prior expertise on healthcare operations will be an asset.
Commencing in September 2017, this position is for one year. There is some flexibility with regards to the starting date to accommodate the selected candidate.
