    I am chairing a session during the INFORMS Annual Meeting 2020 titled "Trust Development and Repair". The conference will be held on November 8-11, 2020 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland, USA.

    In this Sponsored Session, aiming at exploring specific factors influencing the consumers' trust in online environment and their influence mechanism. Furthermore, we attempt to answer the two following questions:

    Which factors constitute online consumers' trust or trust development and repair in online environment?
    How do these factors currently influence online consumers' behaviours?

    What we are interested in is to examine how and why people are motivated to trust in the online environment, as well as the impacts of residing in the social computing on human beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors, from both positive and negative perspectives. Certain disciplines also cover the scope of social computing such as psychology, computing technology, management, marketing, and social science. The purpose of this Sponsored Session is to discuss the impact of trust and trust development and repair on social computing in terms of customer, enterprise, and social perspectives.
