    Open Postdoctoral Fellowship Position at NYU Stern School of Business

    Prof. Srikanth Jagabathula invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position at the Stern School of Business, New York University (NYU), starting in either the Spring or Fall of 2020.  Applicants will have the opportunity to work closely with and be co-advised by Prof. Hima Lakkaraju from Harvard University.

    The research focus of this postdoctoral fellowship will be on leveraging recent advances in interpretable/fair ML and reinforcement learning to improve consequential decision-making in domains such as health care, business (e.g., hiring), and criminal justice. We are looking for applicants with demonstrably strong research skills, ideally, with publications in top venues in machine learning and data mining.  Research experience in reinforcement learning and/or interpretable and fair ML is strongly preferred. Applicants should have a PhD or be assured of its completion by the time of the start of their position.

    The position is for one year with the possibility of extending it up to two years.  Interested applicants should submit their materials at the following link:
