    Dear Colleagues -

M&SOM is making progressive moves with one goal: To make our OM research community grows stronger, bigger, and faster!

    1.  M&SOM 20th anniversary special issue is available for free with Open Access.   This special issue contains
many gems about the future of OM research in many areas (data analytics, healthcare, sustainability,
innovation, Industry 4.0, global trades, sharing economy, online platforms, innovations, etc.) that I treasure.
You can download all papers for free, see: https://www.informs.org/Blogs/M-SOM-Blogs/From-M-SOM-Journal-Editor/Announcing-the-M-SOM-20th-Anniversary-Special-Issue

    2. M&SOM has Increased the number of issues per year by 50%.   With the support of our community and
the blessing of the INFORMS board, M&SOM has increased the number of issues from 4 per year to 6 per year.
With extra 50% space, we can publish more top quality papers without a long wait!   See: https://www.informs.org/Blogs/M-SOM-Blogs/From-M-SOM-Journal-Editor/Making-Impossible-Possible-Together

    3. M&SOM is committed to provide precise and concise review comments.  Beginning Jan 15, 2020, M&SOM is implementing a
new general policy in addition to our 2-round-2-reviewer  policy.  In principle, each reviewer offers 3 major suggestions, and the AE synthesizes all suggestions and provides 4 major comments for the authors to address (when a submission is invited for revision).   This way, the final decision can be reached faster.  See: https://www.informs.org/Blogs/M-SOM-Blogs/From-M-SOM-Journal-Editor/Review-Less-Progress-More-Revisited-2-2-2-3-3-4

Now, M&SOM is stronger than ever, but we need your support by submitting your papers to M&SOM and by supporting our 1-page review form!   By progressing more, our OM community can thrive even faster!

    Thank you,
    Chris Tang.
