The United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant/Associate/Full-Professor level in the Department of Mathematics, with rank contingent on experience.

Graduates of the Coast Guard Academy receive a Bachelor of Science degree and commission as an Ensign in the U.S. Coast Guard. We seek a new teammate who will support all of the academic areas of the Department of Mathematics, which includes courses in mathematics, operations research, computer programming, statistics, machine learning, and data analytics. Our new colleague will teach, mentor, and advise cadets; contribute scholarship and service; and model Core Values. Applicants with significant experience in statistics, machine learning, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and/or the scholarship of teaching and learning in these areas are especially encouraged to apply.
