Visiting faculty positions for semester starting in January in ITDS Department in Ryan College of Business @ UNT

** Send your CV to Dr. Leon Kappelman: leon.kappelman@unt.edu

Professor Leon Kappelman, Chair of the Information Technology & Decision Sciences Department at the University of North Texas, asked me to post this information:

We're going to have several visiting faculty positions for the regular semester that starts in January 2020. Two of our wonderful Business Analytics faculty members unexpectedly passed away in the past two weeks and we will be hiring for those and several other lines for Fall 2020. But in the meantime, we have classes to cover in January and would like to hire into several full-time, participating faculty positions. Preference is for AACSB academically qualified and experienced Clinical or tenure-track faculty who may be interested in a permanent position with us, but experienced lecturers will do nicely as could ABD doctoral candidates. We're in the process of getting these visiting lines posted; but meanwhile, if you're interested, just send me your CV. Obviously, time is of the essence so please pass this note along to others who may be qualified and interested.

We have a great department with excellent Information Systems, Business Analytics, and Management Science faculty and solid hard-working bachelors, masters, and doctoral students. Our bachelors and masters enrollments are growing at about 20% a year. Both our BS-IS and BA-Analytics degrees are STEM-designated, as are both our MBA- and MS-Analytics degrees. The Ryan College of Business is AACSB accredited and received a $30 million naming endowment from G. Brint Ryan last Spring. UNT's main campus is in Denton and we're a Carnegie Tier 1 Research University with campuses in Dallas, Ft. Worth, and Frisco, a law school, and a medical school. The Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area is a thriving, vibrant, business friendly place.

Please direct any questions to Dr. Leon Kappelman at leon.kappelman@unt.edu.
