I'm posting a message that Dr. Parker of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy recently sent.
---------
Dear AI Colleagues,
Today, the National AI Initiative Office launched a new resource on AI.gov – the AI Researchers Portal. This portal connects AI researchers to Federal resources that can support their research. It provides searchable repositories of approximately 140 current Federal grant programs relevant to AI, and around 40 Federally-funded testbed resources, in addition to a wide variety of data and computing resources useful for AI research. This portal is one of many tools and approaches for advancing the Nation's leadership in AI research and development – the first goal of the National AI Initiative.
See also my "Director's Corner" writeup for more information on this portal. And, OSTP's tweet about it is here.
We hope you will find this new resource useful, and welcome feedback or ideas for making this portal more useful, inclusive, or effective.
With warm wishes for the holiday season,
Lynne
