Dear INFORMS Member,
The Education Outreach Committee is calling for dedicated OR/MS and analytics volunteers with diverse perspectives to serve on a variety of subcommittees. These subcommittees will help develop and improve strategies and structures of INFORMS' programs that encourage students toward eventual careers in OR/MS and analytics, raise awareness of these disciplines and their relevant applications, and support/promote the teaching of OR/MS and analytics at all levels of education.
The Education Outreach Committee needs volunteers for the following newly established subcommittees:
- K-12
- Undergraduate
- Community College
- Faculty
- Education Outreach Committee Evaluation
If you would like to volunteer, we have created the following
brief survey for you to indicate your area(s) of interest. The survey will take 7-10 minutes and we will provide more information about the opportunities within the subcommittees following the submission of your responses.
We value your interest, input, and your investment in the INFORMS community and we hope you will consider being part of the Education Outreach Committee to help shape the future of OR/MS and analytics.
