    Clinical Faculty Position in Analytics and Operations

    The Department of Finance and Management Science in the Carson College of Business at Washington State University is seeking candidates for a Clinical Analytics and Operations faculty position with a renewable three-year appointment from August 16, 2020 to May 15, 2023 at the Pullman campus, pending funding release.

    Qualifications:

    Candidates for the Clinical Faculty position must possess, at minimum, an MBA or master’s degree in an operations management- or analytics-related field by the employment start date. Qualified candidates must demonstrate effectiveness and excellence in teaching. Applications at all levels, Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, will be considered. It is preferred that the candidate possess a Ph.D. in Analytics, Operations Management, or a closely related field from a nationally or internationally recognized university by the employment start date.

    Duties:

    This is a 9-month academic appointment with a normal teaching load of nine hours per week (the equivalent of 3 courses per semester). Duties may include teaching one-credit modules in decision analysis, data visualization, and spreadsheets. Service: Provide significant service to the department. The faculty member is expected to fulfill AACSB faculty qualification standards of the Cason College of Business, which can include recent and relevant (a) practical experience or (b) research associated with Operations Management or Management Science.
