    Michigan State University has two fixed term position openings. One in Purchasing/sourcing and the second one in operations.     Michigan State University Supply Chain Management Positions – Fixed Term

    Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business, Department of Supply Chain
    <g class="gr_ gr_66 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="66" data-gr-id="66">Management,</g> has two openings for fixed-term instructors or assistant professors for the 2017-2018
    academic year. One opening is for Purchasing/Sourcing and one opening is for Supply Chain
    Management. Duties include teaching and service. Salary and terms are negotiable depending on
    experience and rank. Each position requires a minimum of a master's degree from an accredited
    university for instructor rank; assistant professor rank will require a <g class="gr_ gr_65 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation multiReplace" id="65" data-gr-id="65">PhD</g>.

    Purchasing/Sourcing – Fixed Term

    Candidates must have a strong interest and background in purchasing/sourcing. The successful
    candidate will be expected to teach purchasing/sourcing courses at the undergraduate and graduate
    levels and to interface with the purchasing/sourcing practitioner community. An ideal candidate will
    have prior experience in teaching purchasing/sourcing courses and demonstrated <g class="gr_ gr_68 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" id="68" data-gr-id="68">ability</g> to work with
    purchasing/sourcing executives. Interest in strategic sourcing, supply chain analytics, and/or supplier
    management is highly desirable.

    Supply Chain Management – Fixed Term

    Candidates must have a strong interest and background in supply chain management. The successful
    candidate will be expected to teach introductory level as well as more advanced SCM courses at the
    undergraduate and graduate levels and to interface with the supply chain management community.
    An ideal candidate will have prior experience in teaching supply chain management courses and
    demonstrated <g class="gr_ gr_52 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" id="52" data-gr-id="52">ability</g> to work with executives. Experience and interest in logistics, transportation,
    manufacturing or service operations, and/or procurement/sourcing <g class="gr_ gr_53 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="53" data-gr-id="53">is</g> highly desirable.
    Anticipated teaching assignments include both large lecture and online courses, with sections of
    200+ students. The position involves teaching and service responsibilities during the spring, summer,
    and fall semesters.
