    We are sending this notice to remind you that February 10, 2017 is the abstract deadline for the The 21st Conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS) 2017. The conference will take place in Quebec City (QC, Canada) on July 17-21, 2017. See ifors2017.ca/welcome for more details.

    Quebec City is a dynamic and modern French-speaking North American city with a unique “Old France” charm. The program committee is committed to preparing a high quality scientific program with diverse participants sharing their vision, knowledge and experience of operational research and analytics.

    The venue is the Quebec International Convention Center, conveniently located in the heart of Quebec City and one of Canada’s top convention destinations with renowned hospitality and exceptional service, cutting-edge technology and creative cuisine inspired by the rich culinary traditions of North America’s fine dining capital.

    We thereby invite you to participate to IFORS 2017 and be part of the great IFORS community by organizing a session, giving a talk, and meeting new and old friends and colleagues!  

    The IFORS 2017 is shaping up to be a memorable scientific event.
    The plenary speakers are outstanding:

    • Egon Balas  (Harold Larnder prize winner),
    • Martine Labbé (EURO plenary speaker),  
    • Alvin Roth (2012 Nobel prize winner),
    • Andres Weintraub (Edelman and Harold Larnder prize winner)

    In addition, there will also be a collection of excellent keynote speakers who will deliver tutorials (one hour each) on a variety of topics:

    Hey Karthik,

    I am done with section 7, and I sent you my revised version.

    7.1 and 7.3 are well done so I only have minor edits.

    7.2 however seems problematic, so I will need to think about this a little more carefully.

    Whenever you have time, please let me know, I just need to have a chat with you to get a better sense of what you tried to achieve there first.
