Dear Colleagues,
I would like to invite nominations for the INFORMS Volunteer Service Award, which recognizes members who have devoted exceptional volunteer service to INFORMS during the last year.
Nominations will be accepted for volunteers who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Current INFORMS member
- Volunteer service within the last year
- Not a current or incoming Board member
- Has not received the award within the past three years
Nominees will be judged by the following criteria:
- Impact within INFORMS
- Engagement level throughout the term of service
- Time commitment of the volunteer service
The award is given based on service performed to INFORMS in the previous one year (July 1, 2019 – June 1, 2020). In addition to the nominations, the selection committee will also review volunteer data provided by INFORMS and select winners from among that list.
Nominations are due by June 30, 2020. Self nominations are also welcomed.
