POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW POSITION at the University of Toronto / McGill University - Data-Driven Decision Making in Emerging Societal Problems
Position Summary
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position to advance the research on data-driven decision making in important societal problems, such as sustainability, healthcare, and climate change.
The successful candidate will work with Timothy Chan (Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, University of Toronto), Sheng Liu (Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto) and Wei Qi (Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University).
Qualifications
- PhD (earned or to be granted) in Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Operations Research, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Strong expertise on optimization and data science will be an asset.
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
Term: The position will commence once filled. This position is for one year with the possibility of extension for an additional year based on mutual consent. There is flexibility with regards to the starting date to accommodate the selected candidate. Teaching opportunities can be provided but are not required.
