    Tenure-track assistant professorship in mathematical finance at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte starting August, 2018. Required quali fications include a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in mathematics, statistics or a related fi eld, with demonstrated research interest in any area related to mathematical fi nance including stochastic calculus, derivative pricing, computational methods including Monte Carlo, risk theory, high frequency fi nance and empirical finance and a commitment to establishing a productive research program. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and foster engagement with students in a diverse academic environment. Applicants with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary research and commensurate experience, potential for external funding are highly desirable.
