UC Berkeley's Industrial Engineering and Operations Research department welcomes applications for an assistant teaching professor opening. This faculty position carries full membership in the Academic Senate with rights and responsibilities that are comparable to the standard professorial track, but with an emphasis on teaching and educational scholarship.
The department is launching a new professional Master of Analytics degree program with strong ties to technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. The 11-month in-person Master of Analytics program will train students in data-driven analytical methods and tools for optimization, probability/statistics, and machine learning with relevant industry context.
