    Dear All,

     I am posting this information as an FYI for people who may be interested in responding ... 

    Please see the RFI released on July 23, 2021 by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation to gather public input on the National AI Research Resource (NAIRR) implementation plan. 

    This RFI is related to the announcement in June about the launch of the Task Force (https://lnkd.in/g69PJBT) which is mandated by Congress to study the feasibility of and develop a roadmap to implement a National AI Research Resource (https://lnkd.in/g_WUXMu). This resource is envisioned as cyberinfrastructure that would democratize access to an advanced computing ecosystem, data sets and educational tools, and provide user support mechanisms. 

    The RFI is designed to tap into the deep technical expertise of the AI community and bring in a diversity of perspectives to inform the capabilities and priorities of the NAIRR.

    If you are interested in contributing to this effort, please follow the instructions in the RFI for submitting input. The submission deadline is September 1, 2021.
