Full-time and internship positions are available across the Corporation. We seek dynamic, creative, resourceful individuals to join multidisciplinary teams of professionals for positions ranging from business analysts to research and development specialists. Successful candidates will use their training, ingenuity, and business understanding to help solve challenging industrial problems and improve profitability.
ExxonMobil is recruiting for several types of job positions requiring operations research, data analytics and optimization skill sets. Examples include the following:
· Business Analyst (M.S. preferred): Perform economic and energy market analyses and support commercial decision processes.
· Decision Support Engineer (M.S. required): Develop, deploy decision support applications and provide technical support for deployed applications.
· Modeling Advisor (M.S. required): Modeling business problems using internally developed or third party supplied decision support tools and communicate results with business partners.
· Optimization Specialist (Ph.D. required): Contribute to research and development efforts in prescriptive analytics including but not limited to mathematical optimization model development, algorithm design and internal consulting support. Experience with modern optimization modeling languages and solvers is desirable.
· Data Analytics Specialist (Ph.D. required): Contribute to our research and development efforts in predictive analytics including but not limited to machine learning, data-mining and statistical analysis. Experience with modern commercial statistical software is desirable.
Applicants should have degrees in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics, or other related disciplines. Individuals with multidisciplinary skill sets (e.g., industrial engineering and data science) are strongly encouraged to apply. For most available positions, experience with commercial platforms for modeling or standard coding languages is beneficial.
