Hello all - thanks to all who replied to my earlier call for players in everything from "Escape from the Ivory Tower" to "Freestyle OR Supreme" for our Annual Meeting in Seattle in October 2019.  (I'll repeat that in a bit, so if you haven't yet responded there's still time.)

Turns out, in addition to all these fun and games, the Committee on Practice is also committed to presenting respectable applications of real-world practice problems at that same conference.  To date, we have lined up something respectable from G.E., something respectable from I.B.M., and something respectable from Facebook.

What are we missing?  You! Does your company have practical applications of O.R. happening that you'd like to tell us about?  Anything from supply chain to analytics to the very far side of reason is probably what we want; we'll pair your 20 minutes of geekdom with other practitioners. Think of it as an island of practical applications in an ocean of academics.

Email me at cmbeam@uark.edu with your ideas - I'm all ears.
