After a great workshop in June at the University of Denver, the INFORMS Essential Practice Skills for High-Impact Analytics Projects shifts back to the East Coast with an event on September 28-29, in Arlington, VA, just minutes from DC’s Reagan National Airport.

On June 16-17 at the University of Denver, Dr. Patrick Noonan, professor and associate dean at Emory University, led a class of analytics professionals representing companies that included Microsoft, Nestle, Google and UPS, as well as participants from higher education and the nonprofit and energy sectors. Denver class participant Rob Miller, long range demand forecaster at Microsoft praised the class as excellent and shared, “I’ve been exposed to a few management consulting and strategy consulting techniques prior to the training, but it was never integrated in the same, effective way.  Also, the experiential learning was really effective.”

Are you looking to improve on the “soft skills” that are so essential to successful analytics practice? Join Dr. Noonan and INFORMS September 28-29 in DC for the Essential Practice Skills for High-Impact Analytics Projects workshop and walk away with practical frameworks and systematic processes to address complex, real-world problems and how to facilitate effective action.

Seating for the DC area workshop is limited so register now at the INFORMS Continuing Education website. For more information, including a discount for multiple participants from the same organization, contact Bill Griffin, INFORMS continuing education program manager at bgriffin@informs.org.
