We expect to have a post-doctoral position available at the Katz School, beginning on September 1, 2016. A two-year tenure is preferred, but a one-year tenure is possible. We are looking for someone who would like to join an established group that works on a wide variety of predictive and descriptive healthcare analytics projects in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Veterans Engineering Resource Center. The projects provide an opportunity to do creative modeling and data work, as well as to work with teams that actually implement the results in clinical settings. Applicants must be able to pass a low-level FBI background check, and should be legally permitted to work in the U.S. for the duration of the position at the time of application.
