The Management Department of the Mendoza College of Business invites applications for a full-time Professional Specialist (teaching faculty member) in Business Analytics to begin Fall 2015. The position is based in South Bend, IN.
The ideal candidate would possess an earned doctorate or the strong prospect of earning a doctorate by Fall 2015 in Business Analytics or a closely related area, such as Operations Research, Statistics, or Information Systems as well as experience and evidence of teaching effectiveness in Business Analytics, either in academia or industry. He or she would have a firm understanding of the Business Analytics industry, and have relevant work experience.
Depending on an individual's training and experience, this position may include teaching in undergraduate programs in Information Technology Management, graduate programs including the MBA and the MS in Management, and in Mendoza's Chicago and South Bend weekend programs for working professionals and executives.
The starting salary and benefits are market competitive. Teaching Faculty members receive outstanding computer, administrative, and library support.
