Postdoctoral Fellow Positions in Analytics and Optimization

Applications are invited for up to 2 postdoctoral fellowships in Data Analytics and Optimization at the Waterloo Analytics and Optimization Lab. Each position is for an initial one-year with the possibility of extension. The preferred start date is September 1, 2016.
The postdoctoral fellow(s) will join the research group at WANOPT, the Waterloo Analytics and Optimization Lab, within the Department of Management Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and will work under the supervision of Prof. Fatma Gzara and Prof. Samir Elhedhli. WANOPT provides a vibrant research environment with a focus on the theory and application of Optimization to Engineering and Management problems using mathematical modelling and solution algorithms.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to be parts of ongoing and future collaborative projects with industrial partners.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Operations Research, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, Optimization or related fields before the start date. Research experience in large-scale optimization or data analytics is highly desirable.
