DMO 2016 - International Conference on Decision Making and Optimization in Engineering, Economics and Social Sciences will be hosted by Ohio University, 19 – 22 September, 2016 in Athens OH, USA. Your participation is very welcome.

The first day of DMO 2016 will be devoted to the science of presidential elections. The second, third and fourth days will be devoted, but not limited to, the presentations of peer-reviewed papers on flexible manufacturing systems, simulation, lean technology, ergonomics, computer science, supply chain management, logistics and transportation, data analysis, healthcare and health policy, production and service systems, case studies of industrial applications, mathematical modeling, max-plus algebra in control systems, and optimization.
Your peer reviewed paper will be published in one of four outlets scheduled with DMO 2016:

Submission deadline is April 30, 2016. We are unable to accept submissions after that date.
The following two major events related to this topic will take place:
(i) The keynote lecture of Prof. Eric Maskin, 2007 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics, How Should Presidents Be Elected?
(ii) A round-table discussion of the Electoral College and other election systems featuring the most prominent scholars in the field.
