INFORMS Open Forum

We don't hear much about the activities of other INFORMS student chapters, so we decided to publicize what we did in 2015. Since most chapters just submitted their annual reports, I hope some also share something back with us :-)

Thanks for sharing about the UMass Chapter too. I never thought about organizing a tour with the chapter - what an awesome idea!

It has been great to hear about the CMU and UMass Amherst Student Chapter 2015 activities! We at the University of Michigan would also like to share a recap of our 2015 student chapter activities and a preview into what we have planned for 2016 (see attached document). Some 2015 highlights include initiating a PhD mentoring program, developing a cultural awareness workshop, and inviting Dr. Margaret Brandeau to visit through the INFORMS Speakers Program.
