    Non-Tenure-Track Lecturer Position in Operations/Quantitative Methods

    The Department of Management Science and Information Systems at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for an Operations/Quantitative Methods full-time Lecturer position. The earliest starting date is January 26, 2016 for Spring ‘16 semester. Preferred areas of interest include Supply Chain Management, Service Operations, and Statistics.

    The preferred candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Operations Management or a Master Degree in a related discipline from a well-recognized university and exhibit a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.

    The department is part of the AACSB-accredited College of Management, which offers two bachelor and five master’s degrees; a doctoral program started in Fall 2012 with an MIS track launching in 2016. Total enrollment has grown rapidly to about 2400 students and the college is home to several thriving business centers. UMass Boston (www.umb.edu) is a Carnegie-classified research-high university, located on Boston harbor in one of the most intellectually rich and innovative cities in the United States.
