Several PhD positions are available at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in the School of Industrial Engineering & Management (IEM).

Buchanan
,
Yousefian
, and
Zhao
are looking to hire PhD students in
optimization
in Fall 2016. The application deadline is February 1st. Research assistantships and scholarships are available for qualified students.
Austin Buchanan
(2 students) is an Assistant Professor in the School of IEM at OSU. He obtained his PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2015. His research focuses on solving challenging combinatorial optimization problems arising in the design and analysis of networks.

Farzad Yousefian
(2 students) is an Assistant Professor in the School of IEM at OSU
. He obtained his PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013. Before he joined OSU, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Pennsylvania State University. His research interests mainly lie in convex optimization under uncertainty, stochastic approximation algorithms, and power systems and markets.

Chaoyue Zhao
(1 student) is an Assistant Professor in the School of IEM at OSU. She obtained her PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida in 2014. Her research focuses on stochastic/robust optimization, data-driven stochastic programming and their applications on power system security and renewable energy management.
