    http://icsp2016.sciencesconf.org

The organizers of ICSP 2016 have the great pleasure of inviting you to Búzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, June 25-July 1, 2016. ICSP is the premier international conference on stochastic programming and is held every three years on behalf of the StochasticProgramming Society.

At ICSP 2016 there will be talks on all aspects of optimization under uncertainty. To provide sufficient background in Stochastic Programming, a two-day introductory series of Tutorials held during the weekend will precede the main conference (June 25-26). The conference will take place over the next five week days with plenary talks and mini-symposia from recognized leading researchers in stochastic optimization, a set of thematic sessions featuring recent contributions on state-of-the-art topics, and contributed talks.

We are currently accepting submission of proposals for thematic sessions. The procedure is the following:

    1) The thematic session organizer  needs to create an account in the SciencesConf platform hosting our webpage AND pre-register for ICSP 2016 (See instructions on the conference website)
    2) The thematic session organizer submits the proposal,  without any template, by filling directly a text box with the following data:

        - a 500 character summary, describing the session (no formulae or symbols), and
         - The titles and speakers (including their affiliation) of four talks.

After acceptance by the Program Committee (October 31st, 2015), each speaker must upload a 1 page abstract in LaTeX, using a template that will be available in the system in due time.

    Deadline for submission:September 30th, 2015
    Acceptance date: October 31st, 2015
Upload of individual abstracts: until January 15th, 2016

Submission of contributed talks will take place starting October 1st, 2015.
