Purdue CIBER is pleased to announce the upcoming Doctoral Consortium Meeting in the field of International Operations Management to be held September 10-12, 2015.  The consortium meeting is sponsored by the Centers for International Business and Educational Research (CIBERs) of Purdue University.

Led by faculty members of the sponsoring CIBERs, this consortium is chaired by Professor Qi Annabelle Feng, John and Donna Krenicki Professor of Operations Management from Purdue University. All doctoral students are invited to apply, especially those in the formative stages of their research agenda. The conference focuses on international issues related to the field of Operations Management with the expectation that such issues eventually will be incorporated in the teaching and research portfolios of participants.

The consortium meeting will be held on the West Lafayette campus of Purdue University from Thursday, September 10, through Saturday, September 12.  There is no fee to register for the conference; however students must apply using the attached registration form.  Space is limited and acceptance will be based on the strength of submitted support materials. Purdue CIBER will cover two nights lodging and food expenses of students during the conference.   Attendees are responsible for their own transportation expenses.  Up to approximately 25 students from major universities will be selected to participate.

The format will be a combination of presentations and discussions of case studies.  We will have a strong line-up of program presenters, and we are confident that your students will find it worthwhile to attend the consortium.

Application Process:  Interested students should complete the attached form, and send along with a cover letter including a description of research interests, curriculum vitae, transcript of doctoral studies to date, and letter of nomination from a faculty member.

Registration materials should be submitted by e-mail by August 24, to:
