    Department of Engineering: Visiting Faculty Position in Industrial Engineering

    The Department of Engineering at Quinnipiac University School of Business and Engineering seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position in Industrial Engineering starting in August 2015.  Candidates with experience in any area of Industrial Engineering are welcome to apply. Priority will be given to the individuals who can teach courses in lean systems, systems engineering, supply chain, and engineering economics.  Relevant industrial experience is beneficial.

    The Department of Engineering is in the third year at Quinnipiac University with the goal of becoming ABET accredited upon graduation of this first class in 2016. The Department of Engineering is a foundational step in a path that anticipates becoming the School of Engineering in the near future.     Responsibilities:

    Specific job requirements include developing and teaching courses in support of the mission of the department and university, along with maintaining currency in the candidate's specialty area.  Special consideration will be given to candidates with interest in developing and teaching courses in lean systems, systems engineering, supply chain, and engineering economics.  

    Qualifications:

    Qualifications for candidates include: a PhD in Industrial Engineering or closely related field is desired. ABDs will be considered.  Strong candidates with an MS in Industrial Engineering or closely related field may be considered.

    Quinnipiac University is only considering applicants who have valid authorization to work in the U.S., in this position, for the University.  Quinnipiac University does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position.
