Well it would be very hard not to recognize Prof. Dr. Gene Wolsey .. In as many INFORMS (previously ORSA/TIMS) meetings I attended (coursey of my employer of long standing) - his personality unmistakable, very open and hearty laughs -- these are what really come to mind. He has done yeoman service to our Profession and the INFORMS.
May his soul rest in peace.
