Dr. Ningji Wei will be joining the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing & Systems Engineering at Texas Tech University as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2022. Dr. Wei's research group offers two PhD fellowships for motivated students interested in theoretical or applied optimization. The fellowships will start in Fall 2022.

- Applications in vehicle routing, supply chain management, resilience analysis of complex networks
Fellowship
These four-year fellowships include a tuition waiver, a waiver for most fees, and an annual $29,000 stipend. Additional funding to support travel for research and conferences may be available.
Requirements
- Background in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
- Strong grades in an introduction to proof writing course and/or introductory real analysis
- Experience in Gurobi, Cplex, C++, Python is preferable
- An interest in optimization and/or machine learning techniques and theory
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
