If you have students with strong quantitative research skills and who are searching for a PhD position in Operations & Supply Chain Management to start in Fall 2016, encourage them to apply at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary. We have PhD position openings for candidates with a strong mathematical background and an interest in either Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Operations Management and Energy.
Our PhD program is a full-time, research-intensive and highly flexible program that allows students to tailor courses to their needs and interests. The program is designed to prepare students for careers as researchers in corporate and academic settings. The first two years, students take courses in statistics and research methods. The Haskayne funding package includes an annual stipend of $25,000 for four years along with full tuition and fee waivers. There is support to attend up to two conferences per year, and other scholarship opportunities.
Applicants should have an educational background in Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related discipline.
