NYMSC2023: Navigating Global Commerce and Conflict
The global maritime and commodities markets are experiencing a sea change. Shifting geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions, the ongoing energy transition and an evolving array of new technologies are together redrawing the contours of tomorrow's profit, progress and security. Now more than ever there is a need for strategic resilience within U.S. shipping.
The New York Council Navy League is honored to be hosting its second annual New York Maritime Security Conference on Thursday, October 5, 2023. This year's conference will focus on strategic resilience within the U.S. maritime and energy industries. The rapid pace of change within geopolitical circumstances, integrated global markets, maritime innovation, and energy initiatives present new and evolving challenges to the safety, security, reliability and resilience of the maritime transportation system and to the world's economy that it supports.
By bringing together thought leaders and experienced professionals from across government, the private sector, defense and academia, this conference will address the complex operational, commercial, policy and regulatory challenges and opportunities within the U.S. maritime value chain, both at home and abroad.
