    Fellow Veterans,

I'd like to welcome the new members to our forum.  Before the Business Analytics Conference in Aurora last month we were hovering a little under 50 forum members.
Today I logged in and it says we have 84 members!  That is greater than 50% growth.....amazing!  This growth, combined with active participation by our members in online discussion, in-person events, and upcoming series of webinars will help us gather sponsorship to continue to grow and provide more value to YOU.   I also want to thank the Analytics Society for sponsoring our coffee and conversation session at the conference.  And welcome all of them to join us in this forum.
Ask your fellow veterans to join.  And tell allies of veterans.  We don't check IDs at the door.
If you have ideas about content you would like to see at webinars or live events, please reach out.  You can even reply on here and help us get some idea generation going.  I look forward to serving and supporting my fellow veterans in ways that matter to YOU.

    best regards,
    Nick

Recently joined at the Analytics Conference.   Very much enjoyed talking to other military veterans.

I would be very much interested in giving a talk or leading a discussion about the use of Monte Carlo simulation for analysis.   For 20 years I used decision trees for sophisticated analysis on Giga capital projects at Chevron.   I am now using Monte Carlo.   I have a library of applications on my YouTube channel and can probably talk about many different types of applications.
