Dr. Sandeep Srivathsan is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Great Lakes Institute of Management. Prior to joining Great Lakes, he has worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Spears School of Business at OSU, Nanyang Business School at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU), the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NTU, and Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) at NTU. He holds Masters and Doctorate degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University (OSU), Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA. He has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Madras, Chennai.
His primary research interests are in the field of stochastic modeling, freight modeling, air traffic management, and supply chains. He has published his research in journals such as Computers & Industrial Engineering, Computers & Operations Research, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science & Engineering, and Transportation Research Part B: Methodological . He has also published his work in conferences such as Industrial & Systems Engineering Research Conference (ISERC) and Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), and has coauthored a book chapter in the Handbook of Industrial & Systems Engineering. He has served as a reviewer for journals such as IISE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, and IEEE Transactions on Automation Science & Engineering.
