Erick Delage graduated in 2009 from Stanford University with a PhD in Electrical Engineering. He is now associate professor in the Department of Decision Sciences at HEC Montréal and chairholder of the Canada research Chair in decision making under uncertainty. His research interests span the areas of robust and stochastic optimization, decision analysis, applied statistics, and risk management with applications to portfolio optimization, inventory management and transportation problems.
