Rex K. Kincaid is Professor of Mathematics at the College of William and Mary. He serves as the director for the M.S. degree in Computational Operations Research. His M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics and his Ph.D. in Operations Research are from Purdue University. His research interests include discrete optimization, complex systems, network location theory and metaheuristics. His research has been funded by NASA for more than 20 years. In 2000 he received
NASA's Group Achievement Award for his work on Active Structural Acoustic Control. It is the highest honor NASA bestows upon groups.
