We are pleased to announce that the Workshop on Quantum Computing and
Operations Research will take place October 13-14 at the Fields
Institute in Toronto, ON. The workshop will include a series of
expository lectures on various aspects of quantum computing and
operations research, several research talks, a poster session, and
time for discussion. Researchers interested in the topic are invited
to participate and propose a contribution. PhD students are especially
encouraged to attend, and some funds will be allocated to support
    student travel.

The lectures will be given by:

Michael P. Friedlander (University of British Columbia)
Daniel Lidar (University of Southern California)
Ojas D. Parekh (Sandia National Laboratories)

For more information, including important dates, instructions on how
to register, travel support application, and proposing a topic, go to:

We aim to build an inclusive and diverse environment; all researchers
and students are welcome to apply, and part of the available funds
will be used to support participation from members of underrepresented
    groups.
