We're pleased to announce that the application deadline for the INFORMS Early Career Teachers' Network (ECTN) Master Teacher Mentoring Program has been extended to Friday, July 12th, 2024. This unique program is designed to empower doctoral students and early career academics in OR/MS/Analytics to excel in teaching-stream positions.
    What We Offer:
    1. ECTN Workshop: Kick off the program at our in-person workshop on October 19th, 2024, just before the INFORMS Annual Meeting. It's a great opportunity to meet fellow ECTN participants, start forming a supportive community, and learn foundational skills for creating exceptional learning experiences.
    2. Mentor-Mentee Connection: Each mentee will be paired with an experienced INFORMS member mentor from a different institution. This relationship will foster an exchange of ideas and experiences that enrich teaching practices throughout the year.
    Program Requirements:
    • Mentees: Should be in the final two years of their PhD or within three years post-PhD in teaching-stream roles.
    • Mentors: Must have over 5 years in a teaching-stream role with a commitment to teaching OR/MS/Analytics.
    Fees:
    • Mentees: $50 (includes lunch and a reception)
    • Mentors: No fee required (includes lunch and a reception)

All participants must attend the 2024 INFORMS Annual Meeting.
