Hi everyone!

I recently attended Dr. Kendra C. Taylor's webinar, "Find Your Superpower: Unleash the Power of Analytics," hosted by INFORMS on October 17th. She highlighted how analytics professionals can drive social impact through initiatives like pro bono consulting and hackathons. One standout example was INFORMS Pro Bono Analytics, which helps nonprofits improve operations using data, as seen with Chalkbeat's enhanced data management.

This directly relates to my experiences in the UC Davis MSBA practicum, where we use analytics to solve real-world problems for industry partners. Dr. Taylor's emphasis on applying data-driven solutions to both business and social causes aligns with my future goal of pursuing a career in quantitative research. I aim to leverage these skills not only in the business world but also to contribute to meaningful social change.
