The Management Science Department at the Miami Herbert Business School invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin in the fall of 2020. Applicants with research interests in all areas of Operations Research will be considered. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Applicants should possess, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. in Operations Research, or a related discipline by the start date of employment. The Management Science Department consists of a diverse group of faculty with expertise in Operations Research and Statistics. We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and strengthen our existing faculty. Responsibilities include research, which is expected to lead to top-tier publications, and teaching at all levels (undergraduate, MBA, Master of Science in Business Analytics, and Ph.D). Service activities within the department and/or School are also to be expected.
