This year, JFIG aims to better engage prospective junior faculty including senior graduate students and postdocs who are interested in academic positions. To that end, we would like to announce a new initiative for student engagement/development to facilitate interaction between JFIG/INFORMS regular members and the prospective junior faculty. We are looking for one or two senior graduate students or postdocs who would like to take a leadership position within JFIG, working as a liaison in planning, reaching out, and engaging INFORMS student members and postdocs. This will be a great opportunity for senior students and postdocs to get more involved with INFORMS and build relationships with the regular members.
