    Tenure-Track Position – Operations and Decision Sciences

     

    The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Operations & Decision Sciences area, commencing July 1, 2021. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

     

    Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. or completion within one year of a PhD in Management Science, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related field and strong records or promise in both research and teaching in operations and supply chain management.

     

    Successful candidates for the position must have

    • Demonstrated research potential in the field of operations management
    • Ability (a) to publish in top-tier business journals and (b) to maintain a highly productive research agenda;
    • Ability to effectively teach core decision sciences and operations management courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA, Master of Management Analytics, Master of Supply Chain Management and PhD) levels;
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate the relevance of their research to a business audience
