    Dear All,

I hope that this message finds everyone safe and healthy.

Dr. Jun Zhuang, Mr. Puneet Agarwal and I are organizing a flash session at the 2020 INFORMS Annual Meeting in the Decision Analysis Society (DAS) cluster. The topic of our flash session is Decision Modeling and Analytics for Disaster Management and Homeland Security. The scope of this session is as follows:
    • Research in disaster management that focuses on the use of social media as a tool for disseminating warnings, updates, and news. Research investigating misinformation propagation and decision making in risk communications is of high interest.
    • Research in the homeland security domain that focuses on decision and game models for border security, airport security, and customs. Models and data-driven analytics related to undocumented immigration are of special interest.
    • Broader research in the disaster management and homeland security domains is also welcomed and encouraged.
Please send me a direct email if interested in participating in this session: <kylehunt@buffalo.edu>. The presenters for the session will be finalized by May 1st, and abstracts will be due by May 15th.

This years INFORMS will take place from November 8-11, in National Harbor, Maryland.
