Palais des Congrès de Montréal, Montreal, Canada
May 22 – May 25, 2021
Track: Quality Control and Reliability Engineering (QCRE)
Dear colleagues,
The Quality Control and Reliability Engineering (QCRE) Division of the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE) is sponsoring the QCRE Track at the 2021 IISE Annual Conference & Expo. The conference is a forum for exchanging knowledge and discoveries by academicians and practitioners.
We encourage you to submit a 250-word abstract to our track via the online submission system. Abstract submission is expected to open on September 27, 2020. Abstracts that are accepted for oral presentation will be available on the conference website and can be cited. Authors can claim them as refereed abstracts. These abstracts will not be copyrighted or indexed in the conference proceedings. Abstracts are welcome, but are not limited, in the following areas
- Big Data in Quality and Reliability
- Deep Learning in Manufacturing
- Data streams and Online Data Analysis
- Reliability, Availability, Maintainability
- Reliability Prediction, Modeling and Analysis
- Degradation and Lifetime Testing
- System Reliability and Optimization
- Distributed Sensing and Data Analysis
- Decision Analysis and Risk Management
- High-dimensional Data Analysis
- Statistical Quality Control and Diagnosis
- Six Sigma Methods and Process Capability
- Design and Analysis of Experiments
- Profiles and Multiple Responses
- Six Sigma Methods and Process Capability
- Design and Analysis of Experiments
- Profiles and Multiple Responses
- Multivariate Data Analysis
- Bayesian Methods
- Response Surface and Surrogate Modeling
- Nonparametric Methods
Authors of abstracts that are accepted for oral presentation will present their work in a conference session. Regular sessions will be 80 minutes and include up to four presenters. Authors of these abstracts will be encouraged to submit (via the online system) an optional six-page paper for double-blind peer review for the conference proceedings. These papers should contain methods and results that are significant and have archival value. All accepted papers will be copyrighted and indexed in the conference proceedings via ProQuest. We will also hold a best track paper competition. Authors of six-page papers will be given the opportunity to participate in this competition without having to publish that paper in the proceedings and thus without releasing its copyright. There are also opportunities to organize special sessions (e.g., tutorials, panels, workshops). If you are interested in organizing such a session, please contact the track chairs by October 30, 2020.
If your abstract is accepted for presentation, the presenting author must register for the conference. Otherwise, the presentation will be withdrawn from the program. If such a withdrawn presentation is associated with an accepted six-page paper for the proceedings, that paper will also be removed. The presenting author must attend and present the work in a session at the conference. We request that authors be ready to review other papers in the track.
Some important deadlines are as follows.
Abstract submission November 15, 2020
Notification of decision on abstract December 14, 2020
Six-page paper submission (optional) January 24, 2021
