to submit your contact information, tentative title, and a short description for your session before March 11, 2021. You are welcome to submit a regular session, a jointly sponsored session, or other special sessions. Please indicate your preference in the survey. If you have more than one session, please fill in another survey. The number of speakers per session is suggested as 4. If you only have 3 speakers, you may contact Dr. Adel Alaeddini (Adel.Alaeddini@utsa.edu) to discuss the merge options. The invitation to senior members is highly encouraged.

The session chair will be responsible to add speakers to the INFORMS conference systems before May 1, 2021.  INFORMS Meetings and INFORMS Subdivisions teams have approved a pilot program model for 2021 that limits the number of presentations per participant in the 2021 Annual Meeting.

    Presentation Limitation

An attendee may present only one paper at the conference. Only the first presentation submitted with the individual's name as a presenter will be accepted. A participant may appear on the program multiple times as a non-presenting co-author on other papers without exceeding participation limits.

The following exemptions do not count towards this limit:

    • Participation as a session chair
    • Pre-conference Workshop/Conference Tutorials
    • Keynote or Plenary Speaker
    • INFORMS Tutorial Speaker
    • Award Session Presenter
    • Poster Presentation
    • Theme panel (limit 1)
    • Non-presenting co-author (no limits)
    • Presenting at QSR workshop

There are no other exemptions from the presentation limits. Note, I do not have the authority to create the following sessions:

    • Keynote or Plenary Speaker
    • INFORMS Tutorial Speaker

    Abstract Guidelines and Submission Rules

INFORMS limits speakers to one presentation at the Annual Meeting. Only the first presentation submitted with the individual's name as a presenter will be accepted.

All abstract submissions must be entered into the submissions site by May 15, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.

All presenters must register and pay Annual Meeting registration fees by June 29, 2021, or the session will be removed from the program.

To qualify for membership savings, presenters' INFORMS membership must be active and in good standing at the time of registration and at the meeting (October 25, 2021).

Once again, thank you for your participation and contribution to the QSR subdivision, INFORMS!  If you have questions, please feel free to contact Dr. Adel Alaeddini, Adel.Alaeddini@utsa.edu
