Dear Community,
In the next RAS webinar, Professor
Christian Liebchen will touch on three major aspects of railway timetable optimization. First, how is the railway sector organized in general in Europe (and in a bit more detail in Germany), and which types of companies are playing which roles? Second, regarding timetables, which of the different proposed optimization models fit best to which types of companies in the European railway market? Finally, more general, he will present selected do's & don'ts for optimization R&D projects, in particular in the railway business.
