    Applications are invited for up to 2 postdoctoral fellowships in Data Analytics and Optimization at the University of Waterloo. Each position is for one year with the possibility of extension. Both positions will start as soon as they are filled.

    The postdoctoral fellow(s) will join the research group at WANOPT, the Waterloo Analytics and Optimization Lab, hosted within the Department of Management Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and will work under the supervision of Prof. Samir Elhedhli and Prof. Fatma Gzara. WANOPT provides a vibrant research environment with a focus on the theory and application of optimization and analytics to engineering and management problems. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on collaborative projects with industrial partners in supply chain analytics, pandemic related logistics and distribution, and data-driven decision making.

     Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Operations Research, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Research and training in optimization or data analytics is required.
